What both tools have in common

Your work goes nowhere. That is the architecture, not a setting you have to go and find.

There is no server to send it to

Everything stays in your browser's own storage, on your own device. Neither tool has a database behind it, because neither has anything behind it.

There is nothing to sign into

No account, no password, no roster upload, no email address collected. Open the page and start.

Moving your work is your choice

Planbook can connect to one file in Google Drive. BBStyler exports a backup you control. Neither requires an account with us.

Not sure which one?

They do not overlap. Planbook is the record-keeping around your lessons — grades, attendance, the message home. BBStyler is what your students actually see — the class page, the assignment, the bulletin. Most teachers want one or the other, and taking both is no more setup than taking one, because neither has any setup.

Planbook is new, and you should know that before you start. It runs its first real term this fall, and it is being built as that term goes. Expect rough edges. Keep the backup file it gives you — it takes 1 tap, and it is how you get a term of grades back if something goes wrong.

BBStyler is newer still — version 0.1 went out this month. Its drafts live in this browser and nowhere else, so export the backup it offers before you clear site data or move to another machine.

Who makes this

Built by a classroom teacher, for their own 5 classes. These tools exist because something in the school day was taking longer than the thing it was meant to support — and the fix had to survive a bad-wifi, three-minutes-before-the-bell Tuesday.
